Longton Nature Homes builds bird boxes, bat boxes, and shelters for the small creatures that share your garden. Cut from sustainable cedar, larch, and oak, fixed with stainless steel, and built to the specifications each species actually needs.
Small structures, built properly - it matters to the animals that use them
Every box starts life as sustainable cedar, larch, or oak sourced from independent sawmills, worked by hand and left untreated — no chemicals, no varnish, nothing that could harm the animal living inside. Fixings are stainless steel throughout, and all panels are cut from durable, weatherproof timbers, so nothing rusts or weakens over time.
We follow trusted, species-correct designs rather than generic ones — entrance size, cavity depth and ventilation are matched to what the target wildlife actually needs, not just what looks good on a wall.
