Why we started
Longton Nature Homes began in 2024 with a simple idea — that the small structures we build for wildlife should be built properly. Every box is cut from sustainable cedar, larch, or oak, worked by hand, and finished with stainless steel fixings so it can survive years outdoors without needing looking after.
We follow trusted, species-correct designs rather than generic ones, so the animal each box is built for can actually use it — correct entrance sizes, the right cavity depth, proper ventilation and drainage.
