Designed for bats Based on the dual chamber Kent bat box design, with 20mm chamber openings suited to UK bat species. Textured cedar and grooved landing ramps give bats a good grip for landing, climbing and moving around inside. 25mm thick walls provide excellent strength and insulation.
Untreated cedar is naturally resistant to weather, rot and insects thanks to its natural oils. Stainless steel screws throughout, so no rust or corrosion. No chemicals or treatments used. Lightweight and easy to install, with rear wooden fixing bars. Simply screw each end of the two fixing bars to the mounting surface. Mount the box high on a tree or wall in an area offering bats a clear flightpath to and from the entrance.
